Ready for New Gun Control Laws?

President Obama has recently taken the gun control issue into his own hands, sidestepping Congress, to implement new gun laws through executive order. That is how the press reported the issue. In fact, these were presidential memorandums and proclamations as opposed to laws. The issues include banning assault weapons and high capacity magazines, and performing much more thorough background checks. What is a Gun Trust?

The country is on an emotional bandwagon right now after the shootings in Connecticut. Our hearts go out to the victims and their families who were unwittingly thrown into the nightmare just before Christmas. Everyone has an opinion on the issue and, as a lifelong gun enthusiast, I believe the Second Amendment protects us.
